Taylor Duane attorneys admitted to Connecticut, New Hampshire bars
BOSTON/PROVIDENCE (Aug. 3, 2011) – Boston partner Tamara Smith Holtslag was recently sworn into the New Hampshire bar, and Providence associates Andrew Coulam and Kristen Whittle were recently sworn into the Connecticut bar.
These bar admissions enhance the firm’s capability of servicing clients in multiple New England states. Four other firm attorneys are admitted in Connecticut: Providence partner Steve Adams, and associates Matt Plain, Tim Groves and Sara Sweeney. In addition to Smith Holtslag, Jennifer Rousseau is admitted in New Hampshire.
“Our firm,” said Smith Holtslag, “is excited to be building a broader presence in New England, with a team of partners and associates serving clients in a variety of jurisdictions. We can readily provide litigation and other services to clients with matters in Connecticut and New Hampshire, as well as Massachusetts and Rhode Island.”
Clients who have a regional presence appreciate that the firm can represent them in multiple jurisdictions, according to Adams.
“It saves them the cost of getting different law firms up to speed on the unique aspects of their business,” he said. “In turn, our depth of knowledge about their operations allows us to see the big picture, and it results in more effective representation.”
