PROVIDENCE (Jan. 17, 2012) – The most recent installment of the Lunch With Legends article series by Matt Plain and Elizabeth Merritt was published in the January/February 2012 issue of the Rhode Island Bar Journal.

This installment features John F. McBurney Jr., a decorated WWII veteran who has maintained a thriving solo practice in Pawtucket  while also serving in the Rhode Island Senate for many years.

Lunch With Legends is published each issue by the Rhode Island Bar Journal. The series explores the fundamental beliefs and foundational habits of successful and longstanding Rhode Island lawyers. Over lunch, the legends share with Plain and Merritt their war stories, lessons learned, memorable moments, and inventive and creative legal arguments and strategies.
