Legal assistant at firm honored for volunteer work at charter school

PROVIDENCE (June 8, 2009) – Ramona (Dawn) Veveiros, a legal assistant at the firm, was recently honored by Blackstone Academy high school for her extraordinary dedication as a parent volunteer.

She was presented an appreciation award and gift at a recent school awards ceremony. Veveiros headed the parent volunteer organization, which helped raise more money for school activities this past year than it ever has previously.

“Dawn participated in every single fundraising event this past year and participated in every single parent committee,” said Matthew R. Plain, an associate at the firm and former member of the school’s board of directors. “She truly is parent of the year.”

The firm is counsel for Blackstone Academy, a public charter school serving students from Pawtucket and Central Falls, R.I.
