Firm honored as a top place to work

PROVIDENCE (May 29, 2009) – Taylor Duane Barton & Gilman has been chosen as one of Rhode Island’s top places to work by the Providence Business News.

The publication chose the firm as part its 2009 Best Places to Work special feature, which will be published June 22. The publication will honor the winners at an awards ceremony on June 18 at the Crowne Plaza in Warwick, R.I.

The 28 organizations selected – which range in size from large (150 or more employees) to medium (50 to 149 employees) to small (as few as 15 employees) – were judged on their responses to both an extensive management report and an employee survey. The resulting data were compiled by Best Companies, an independent research organization based in Harrisburg, Pa., which then chose the winners. Taylor Duane is one of only four law firms to achieve this honor. It was also chosen last year as part of the PBN’s 2008 Best Places to Work special feature and event.
