Coletta, Coulam lead insurance law symposium
 

PROVIDENCE (June 2, 2010) – Partner Andria Coletta and Associate Andrew C. Coulam recently led a full-day symposium on insurance law sponsored by the National Association of Insurance Women.

On May 26, Ms. Coletta and Mr. Coulam spoke on a variety of topics as part of NAIW’s annual I-Day (Insurance Education Day). Their presentation included a comprehensive discussion on: insurance policy rescission; late notice of claims under “occurrence” policies and “claims-made” policies; “other insurance” and priority of insurance coverage; and what insurance professionals need to know about recent information privacy and data breach laws.

The audience was comprised of insurance professionals from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Ms. Coletta’s practice includes insurance law and litigation, as well as bad faith insurance practices litigation. She has lectured in the fields of employment law, data breach and information privacy law, insurance coverage and bad faith insurance practices. She also regularly counsels clients on litigation prevention.

Mr. Coulam’s practice includes insurance law, as well as employment and professional liability litigation. He has participated as a panelist in a number of seminars on risk management and employment law.
