Frank Connor leads seminar on getting favorable personal injury settlements
PROVIDENCE (June 2, 2010) – Partner Frank Connor was one of three distinguished faculty members for a May 27 seminar on how best to obtain favorable settlements for personal injury clients.
Connor, a seasoned trial and appellate attorney, focused on three areas: (1) knowing the key elements of the settlement process; (2) incorporating subrogation, reimbursements, and liens into a settlement package and ensuring all interested parties are paid; and (3) successfully negotiating settlements when Medicare and ERISA issues are involved.
The Administrative Partner of the firm’s Providence office, Connor concentrates on professional liability defense, business litigation, and catastrophic personal injury cases. He frequently lectures to local, regional and national groups on a wide variety of litigation topics and risk management issues.
The day-long seminar, entitled “Obtaining the Best Settlement for Personal Injury Clients,” was sponsored by the National Business Institute.
