Elizabeth R. PentaElizabeth R. Penta focuses her civil trial practice on professional liability defense, employment law, personal injury, and premises liability. Representative AccomplishmentsAfter oral argument in the U.S. District Court, Ms. Penta persuaded a federal judge to deny an opposing party’s request to preclude expert opinions at trial. She successfully removed a medical malpractice case to the Massachusetts Superior Court in order to convene a medical malpractice tribunal, which led to a dismissal of the lawsuit. On behalf of a real estate appraiser, she successfully dismissed a charge filed with the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation. Ms. Penta also successfully represented a nursing home in a tort action, resulting in a dismissal of all claims.
